Reflection

One of the courses that we have to attend in order to complete our Diploma in Education is Technology In education. Lecturer for this course is Mr Azrul Bin Azlan and we have 6 class session with him within this semester.

First Class Session (11 June 2012)

Before started the class, our lecturer do some icebreaking session. After that, we have been introduced to my-English website. All of us have to create an account on this website that will make us easy to interact and also can have all the notes and the information about this course. It was very exciting that we can interact with all of our friends and sharing the information together by using this web. After that our lecturer Mr Azrul teach us about 9 steps of Gagne Theories.

Second Class Session (12 June 2012)

Today we have learnt about the topic of Learning Theories & Models, Instructional Media, and Concepts in Instructional Media. All this topic will be ask in our midterm term test. What we realize is that it is important for teachers to have these skills to helps us improving our teaching and learning process. After giving the lecture Mr Azrul give us time to do our e portfolio / blog which is one of our task in this course. We have to submit this task on 18 June 2012.

Third Class Session (13 June 2012)

The midterm test is done. After the midterm test, Mr Azrul give us time to do our second task which is doing our instructional design. This task must follow the nine steps of Gagne Theories. This instructional Design will we be use in our presentation for tomorrow.


Fourth Class Session (14 June 2012)
In this session, we are required to complete our blog as our assignment. This was a new thing to us but we were happy to do this task because we gain a lot of knowledge in multimedia and technology. Besides that,in a way to complete this task, we  cooperate between each other and everybody come out with ideas in order to complete our assignment. Mr. Azrul monitor our task and give us some suggestion.


Fifth Class Session ( 15 June 2012 )
We felt quite nervous today because we got presentation on Production of Instructional Multimedia. We were 7th presenter and successfully delivered it even though  the time given was not enough for us to do it very well.


Sixth Class Session ( 19 June 2012 )
Hoorrey !!!!! Finally we were completed all of assignment given. We just have to sit and relax while the other six group doing their presentation. We gain a lot of knowledge in multimedia and also technology. Hope that we can apply it in our Teaching & Learning process......................

Who commonly uses math?

Everybody uses math whether they realize it or not. Shoppers use math to calculate change, tax, and sales prices. Cooks use math to modify the amount a recipe will make. Vacationers use math to find time of arrivals and departures to plan their trips. Even homeowners use math to determine the cost of materials when doing projects.

How can math help me solve problems?

Ever since there were humans in existence, there have been problems to solve. Whether the problems were over basic requirements like sustaining sufficient amounts of food or major accomplishments like constructing multifunctional homes, problems such as these remain with us to this day. The peculiar thing about problems is that they all have similar properties.

How to Learn Math..

Here are some important things to remember when learning mathematics (known as math or maths for short). Learning mathematics is like learning another language, so at first it will be hard but it will get progressively easier. A lot of concepts in mathematics are inter-related, so knowing one helps you understand many others. Being frustrated is not a problem, it is a natural part of the learning process, so don't give up. You can do it!
